Privacy Policy

Effective 28 October 2026.

BLACK SWORD uses YouTube API Services solely to operate its internal YouTube publishing workflow for the BLACK SWORD channel.

Data accessed and used

The application accesses the authorized YouTube channel identity and the authorization required to upload and manage BLACK SWORD video uploads. It sends only editor-approved video files and their approved publishing metadata to YouTube. It may read back the resulting upload identity and status to verify that the intended private upload completed correctly.

Storage and security

OAuth client secrets and refresh credentials are stored as protected GitHub Actions secrets. Short-lived access tokens are created at runtime and are not committed to source control. Resumable upload session data is kept in private Cloudflare R2 storage. Non-sensitive operational identifiers, hashes and upload outcomes may be retained in the private BLACK SWORD repository for integrity, retry safety and audit purposes.

Sharing, advertising and tracking

BLACK SWORD does not sell YouTube API data, does not use it for advertising, and does not make authorized YouTube data available to unrelated third parties. This public site does not use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral tracking.

Google and YouTube

Use of the application is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google processes data under the Google Privacy Policy.

Revoking access

The authorizing Google account can revoke the application's access at any time through Google Account security permissions. Revocation prevents future authenticated YouTube API actions until authorization is granted again.
